We are headed into the "Tail End" of summer, so we'd like to highlight some of the Pup-standing pooches 🐶 that visited us during the DOG 🐩 DAYS of summer. Meet Michele! 👋👋👋
Michele Erwin has been promoted to Director of Nursing at St. Camillus. In her previous roles, she has held the positions of Assistant Director of Nursing, Employee Health and Infection Control. With more than 22 years of nursing experience, Michele brings a comprehensive knowledge of health care, especially in a skilled nursing facility.
“There’s always something new to learn. Nursing and medicine are an ever changing, evolving environment and this position allows me to enact some of that exciting, REAL change,” said Michele. “And, I get to enter this building every day and work with some of the most kind, caring and selfless people I have ever met. It is truly and honor to be able to do so.”
As Director of Nursing, Michele will provide the leadership and management of the nursing department to assure that the optimal achievable quality of care is provided to the residents by the nursing staff. in addition, she will help continue to enhance the overall patient experience, direct regulatory compliance and quality metrics as well as promote positive culture and professional development within the staff.

Thank you to Clear Path for Veterans for visiting St. Camillus and bringing this ADORABLE therapy dog, Danby! Our residents, including many veterans, had a wonderful day with coffee, croissants and sweet doggie cuddles!

Act your AGE!!! (Not us!) Today is National Senior Citizens Day and we celebrate everyone who is YOUNG at HEART ❤. At St. Camillus, we like to "flip the script" on senior stereotypes... Here's just a peek at our youthful shenanigans. Seniors Citizens are pretty great, but admittedly, we think our friends at St. Camillus are simply the BEST.
