The Sunshine Award spotlights employees who go above and beyond – those who exceed expectations by embodying our mission and vision through compassion, exceptional skills, and outstanding care. 

Who is eligible? 

We understand the importance of each department here at St. Camillus. To ensure those who go above and beyond are recognized, all employees are eligible for a Sunshine Award.

How do employees get nominated?

  • Employees can be nominated by management, co-workers, residents, family or visitors.
  • Anyone who observes or experiences the employee going above and beyond their typical job description, or does their job extraordinarily well.

St. Camillus in the News – St. Camillus Launches CareFlow Program

January 13, 2026 – St. Camillus recently announced the addition of CareFlow – a new on-site hemodialysis program to its current array of services. CareFlow is designed to provide residents with convenient, high-quality renal care without the need to leave the facility while participating in the facility’s short-term rehabilitation program.

November 11, 2025 – St. Camillus is pleased to announce the addition of CareFlow – A new On-site Hemodialysis program to its current array of services. CareFlow is designed to provide residents with convenient, high-quality renal care without the need to leave the facility while participating in the facility’s short-term rehabilitation program. CareFlow is a strategic partnership with Dialyze Direct, and local nephrology groups including Nephrology Hypertension Associates of CNY and Nephrology Associates of Syracuse.

This groundbreaking initiative reflects the facility’s commitment to advancing healthcare delivery and improving quality of life for residents.
